AVG is completely free - providing you download the correct version, and the link that allheart sent was for anti virus not anti spy - both are good tho!

Spyware Terminator, which is not on that list in post #2, is also a free antispyware app.

I work for Spyware Terminator, by the way.

Have just read the blurb from AVG Antispyware and you lose the Real Time Protection after 30s days if you don't pay.....

I think spyware terminator is a good choice it's completely free and offers a real-time shield along with hips if you're interested in that.
