Hi bibs64
Can you do a System Restore back to before you installed the Norton 360?If not, you might have to reformat and start fresh assuming you have an XP disk to reformat from?Otherwise, can you disable Nortons and run an online Panda Scan or Trend online scan and see what they find?
Regards Paula

Symantec aware of l.u.problem.
Many thanks for your input pfurball, after hours of help Chat, emails and remotely accessing my comp.,i was finally told late last nite that Symantec are actually aware of the problem and are working towards a solution. In other words,i think i`d exhausted vthe possibility of my error and the truth had to come out.A waiting period now follows till remedy ,patch,is issued. Thanks once again for your help.Andyb.
