Angry Solved: Error Message When installing Anti-Virus Help!!!
I keep on getting an error message appear when trying to install my Sophos anti-virus software.

The error message reads: "Error 3057.There was an unexpected error while attempting to create, repair or delete a user account."

I have tried various things to find a solution to this problem but nothing has worked , any ideas would be much appreciated as I am now clueless.

Google
I Googled a bit, and found Sophos' home page with the answer to your question.

You can find the page here

I hope this will help you, and Good Luck!

Sophos anti-virus solved
After trying to install sophos anti-virus onto an HP laptop i found that here was the main problem as there was a process on the laptop "HP Credential Manager" which was not allowing it to properley install. After removing this application I found that Sophos Anti-virus installed and ran fine.

Thanks for the response.

HP Credential Manager is it needed?
HP Credential Manager do you know its for and do you need?
HP Credential Manager is Credential Manager is used for working with fingerprint recognition, smartcarts and other things that lets you replace a password-based login.
