Parent and Child Folder Rights
iam using Windows2000 Advvance Server with a Drive having Fat32 File system... i want to share a folder having only Read rights for UserName Logins ...but when iam Running a Application of "Version Controlling Software" that will write a file into a folder named "Loggedin" for when user login into the Application. but its parent folder have only Read Rights... i want to set only that folder named "loggedin" having Write rights without giving it Parent Folder Rights.....

Any solution / Suggestion ....i will Thankful for That...

Depending on the 'rights' you wish to bestow things could get complicated. I'd say unless you want to spend weeks reading up on permission rights with NTFS, then use a 3rd party application. Or you can use the user rights configured on most .NTFS windows OSes.
