Question I need help. local computers with AVG firewall
I have AVG Internet security version 7.5, it comes with a firewall.
It's installed on both my PC's, but I messed up.
I am no longer able to see into local networks as before.

How do I configure AVG firewall so both computers see each other when they are on?

I did check out the AVG support section but that only confused me.
Though I am still looking?

Thanks allot
Vera

AVG Control Center->AVG Firewall->Configure->System tab->"Microsoft file sharing and printing"

This application´s default setting is "Block" (for security reasons). If your local network is not accessible or you cannot print on network printers, please re-configure this option to "Allow" (choose "Microsoft file sharing and printing"->click on "Edit rule" button->click on "Edit rule" button)

_____

Tried this?

Good luck!

I tried but was to worried to take the last step (Image link is below.)
I got as far as here then didn't know what to do.
I clicked to open my AVG control center clicked firewall then clicked configure, system, Microsoft file sharing and printing, edit rule, then I went to the system service rule properties, I then clicked edit rule and ended up at this section. And I was not sure what to click. The blacked out section is my internet server didn't want anyone seeing the address.
Thanks allot Vera
