Norton Bypass
Hey i have a few programs that Norton won't let through. How do i let things through Norton?

I have Norton Security Online from Rogers (yes i am Canadian) and Rogers Yahoo! Online Protection, though it seems that only Norton is blocking it.

Any ideas?

Can you create firewall exceptions? Also one note don't know if you know this, but rogers is reading your email. Yes, I know this because rogers suspended someone I know's internet because they had a virus!! I would find a program another firewall program and instruct it to block all ports and only allow programs you tell it too, and dump all the rogers software you have.

I don't quite follow why you say Rogers is reading email. Most ISP's routinely scan traffic for viruses-that's a public safety measure. Some might read the particular email that triggers a hit, but I believe most (and all that I've had experience with) would simply 'bounce' the email back to the sender with a message about finding a virus in it.

Not Rogers. They read all email when they think you have a virus. They don't have to have a trigger to read it and they randomly select email to read. I know because I heard a recording of the phone call and spoke with them on behalf of the person. They are a friend of my parents and I built there computer for them. Also Rogers is not very good. They treat you like you are stupid and know nothing, haha ain't they the stupid ones.
