Returning Poster with a Returning Problem.
Well, hey guys, I'm back once again, for the same problem. Pathetic, I know. I'm not even sure if this is the right section I should be posting in, lol. Um, so my computer is running slower than usual, which I figured it was something stupid like it didn't have enough free space or something, until... the popups returned! Yes random popups coming on from Internet Explorer, which doesn't make any sense because I 100% of the time use firefox. Anyway, I need your help again, I did a Ad-Aware 2007 and an AVG scan and whatever corrupted files I had went away, yet the problem still exists. So I did a "hijackthis" log and this is what it said:

Quote:
Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1
Scan saved at 10:37:39 PM, on 12/2/2007
Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600)
MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP2 (6.00.2900.2180)

Help please!

I also have an additional question, while waiting for my computer to load I thought it froze so I clicked crtl+atl+delete, and the windows task manager pops up. So I was looking around and went to the "processes" tab, and noticed I have 96 running, and I thought.. how could this be? I know some programs may start up automatically, but 96? Is there anyway I can establish what I need, from what i don't? Is there a certain one you should always keep running?

Thanks!

Regarding the 96 processes, it looks like you have three users logged on at once. Do you?
