Security BREACH?
A guy once told me. “Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're out to get you!” ;~)

About five years ago I came up with a concept for a new business. It was so revolutionary in the industry that I guarded it with top secrecy (at least I thought I had).

I went so far as to print my original notes, then mail them back to myself so that I would have a government office date stamped the envelope (just in case I had to have a judge open it).

About two years ago, another company with obviously more capital than I had, opened with a bang. Long story short they have about $2 million in revenues in two years! With next to no expenses!

The thing is even in their marketing, some of their statements are word for word the same as I had in my notes.

Now I do believe in coincidences of course, but the odds that they just opened before I could get to the punchline, the fact that there marketing had the exact same wording as I had in my notes, and the fact that happened to be in this particular area of interest just seems very peculiar to me.

Now of course I did have to speak to some people about my concept. Each person I spoke to about it I had them under confidentiality agreement -- this could be the breach of course because I have been in court before with people under confidentiality agreement and it did not hold up in court.

The people that started the new company have nothing to do with me that is I've never met them but whether my secrets were sold to them or passed on to them somehow we may never know.

Then somebody told me about this program http://www.win-spy.com/.

If you read the FAQs, it says that it can be installed remotely, it does not mimic a virus or spyware so it's not detectable by antivirus or antivirus software (so they say).

It delivers information from the host computer back to the source by itself while not affecting any outgoing messages (that is it doesn't say that a message was sent to so-and-so in your outbox) apparently does this all behind the scenes.

I have e-mailed the company several times asking them if there's any way of detecting this on your system but I have not received an answer.

Does anyone know anything about this program and is there any way of finding out if it is installed on a system?

Any advice would be great thanks.

Hi. Win-spy is not unique. There's an class of spyware known to do what they do, called keyloggers. Keyloggers trap every keystroke and sends it home. There are also hacking tools which can take snapshots of your screen and send them home too.

Here's a program that lists out what starts up automatically when you log in ( which is what keyloggers do )

Copy and log produced and paste it into a message in the Malware Removal forum. Someone with a gold shield will help determine if you have any malware running.
