Wallpaper Locked Down
I have just acquired a laptop and it will not let me change the wallpaper. I have looked through the local security (it helped me with other problems) but I can not find anything that will let me fix this problem. I try to select an image for the wallpaper but it doesn't show up in the display options,

Does anyone know about this?

Thnak you!

Question Research
I did some research and my DWORD is set to 0, but when I select an image, it doesn't keep it.

The only way I can change my desktop picture is by opening the image up in Irfanview and setting it as wallpaper. Any clues?

Your local policy's messed up?

Have you tried right-clicking on the photo and selecting "set as desktop background"?

I have done that in Irfanview only. How does one "un" mess up ones local policy?
