PC Watcher Trojan!!!
I put an ad up on craigslist and one of the e-mails I got back had this strange message in it.

It said congratulations here is PC Watcher a Trojan just for you.

I deletedit right away. Is this a trojan or a software spam ad?

If it is a trojan, what do I need to do?

Thank you!

If you opened it, changes are that you got a worm, but not a trojan? If you ran an .exe file ( which you did not do ) you most likely got a trojan.

I'd recommend you to run a full scan with updated SUPERAntispyware, pluss your own antivirus ( if you have one!)

Remember for SAS: Update until it says; No updates needed. That is very importaint!

Also, as you probably know, you could always post a hjt log in the Hjt forums

But in my opinion: Calm down, I don't think you are infected (Prank-email?). But rather safe than sorry: Do a scan!

Happy holidays!
