It all started with a message that my antivirus has become corrupt under some 1002,1 error. So i visited the website and attempted to get a hotfix for it, when that didn't work the website says to uninstall the product and reinstall the program. I proceeded to remove the program through the control panel. I get to Norton's removal tool where i choose the Remove all option. I click next, and i get a window that pops up titled Windows Visual C++ Runtime Library and says that there was a runtime error. It names a program but the file is too long for me to identify what it is because the only viewable part is a long series of numbers and characters.
Can anyone assist me in bypassing this somehow and removing Norton?
