Mouse has a mind of its own.
HP Media Center PC
Windows XP

My mouse has a mind of its own.
It clicks items i dont click and bounces around pages and freeezes up.

I reinstalled the mouse driver, but still no luck.

Is it an optical mouse? What type of surface are you using it on? Do you have any problems with your keyboard, like sticky keys?

The mouse might be damaged. (did it fell down from your desk ?)
Checking with other mouse may help. If the problem is same with other mouse too.
You might have virus.
