Receiving uneeded data
I'm using Windows XP. After opening just one webpage eg. Yahoo i keep on receiving data although the page is fully downloaded (Done). This pushes my received bytes to over 2MB in 3 minutes and i have only 350MB/month. Experts say Yahoo's home webpage shouldn't be bigger than 250KB. After i disconnected i have a huge ammount of temp internet files/cookies which i then delete. I'm using AVG. This happens with almost any webpage...please help

I think most of that 2MB would be advertisement banners and maybe flash ads. Try this :

Hey hows u going??
This is a general net issue.
I wud recommed u to shift to MOZILLA Firefox first as u can control effectively the things u wanna c in webpages.
Secondly, check for any hidden applications running in bakground using your internet usage like noron updates or sumthing.Disable dat.
Thirdly, install a software that counts the amount of data that tranfers thru ur PC over the net.
Here is one...http://www.rosecitydownloads.com/dumeter3.exe.this is a demo
