Hi,
For the last 5 days or so, when I have first switched my laptop on, I have had a security warning message come up on the screen for an unknown publisher trying to connect to the server. The name of the file is Caillo~1.EXE and the connection it is trying to make is labelled as C:\DOWNLO~1
Has anyone any idea what this is? I ran live update and then did a full system scan, I cleared all cookies and history from my internet options and now I am at a loss as to what to do. I typed caillo into google and got spanish sites which seemed to be talking about a virus, but with no advice on how to remove it or what it actually was.
Also, and this is unrelated I think! For a couple of months, when I use a search engine like google, then click on the links from a search, around one time in 3 I get taken to a completely different page for K-directory, or Freshwater or something. I get a noise like the pop-up blocker (which is set on high, btw) then taken to these different sites. Often the back button does not work from these pages, which is a right pain! Not sure how to get rid of this either.
Technically, I am not very experienced, though I work with computers everyday and know quite a bit about what they can do, I'm not so hot on how and why they do these things! Be gentle with me technically speaking please

Deliah
