Cannot connect to the internet
I am using Vista Home Premium on my laptop. I did a live update on nortons 2006 and rebooted and now I cannont connect to the internet. I have tried the repair in vista. I have done all the diagnostics. It will not connect on wireless of cabled. I tried a different network all together. I turned off the window firewall and nortons firewall, but still nothing.
Help Please,
Thank you

How do you connect to internet? DSL/Cable Modem?

1) Go to start run, type ipconfig/all and post results

If you you a cable modem try to reset the router as follow:
1) Turn off the router
2) Unplug the Cat5 cable that connect your system to the router
3) Shut down windows
4) reset the router (see manifacturer manual how)

Wait 30 seconds

Plug the power and the CAT 5 cable back into the router/system

Try to connect from safe mode with networking

1) Go to start run, type ipconfig/all and post results

P.S: You also better off seeking help in the Networking forums..
