PC-cillin Stalls
Have Dell desktop Dimension 051, 2.53, 512mb using PC-cillin Internet 2007, been updated, exp. 4/08.When I do a full system scan it stalls in Spyware with an elapsed time beyond 2+ hrs. with targets scanned, {always} at 244, no items detected. I am a noob, can someone give me direction. Thanks Win XP Home

Hi Don,

Welcome to TSG!

Try full scanning in Safe Mode, and unschedule full scanning while your system is fully booted up. Then after scanning in Safe Mode, do a full boot up and just let the real-time scanner and firewall protect you.

In Safe Mode, there is less software that is booted, and then just PC-cillin is running.
