XP security
Hey hope someone can help me out on this one, been puzzling me for a while now.

built my comp and sisters at the same time both with xp pro. around last year.

but on my comp i decided to reformat it as i got a external hdd for all my music etc. give it a clean lol

as you do i downloaded my essentials, itunes, bitcomet, avast firefox etc.

i installed avast, updated it and ran a full system scan *eaven though i had just reformated my drive* and installed and updated comodo firewall then the problem began

i restarted my pc and in the security centre it always says i have no AV or firewall installed * i disabled windows firewall*

why is that happening, i have had to say i have an av and firewall that im monitoring myself to get rid of that anoying red sheild on the tray icons.

any ideas.?

thanks
