Solved: Easy Removal
Greetings,

The free 30 day trial of McAfee that came with my boy's new laptop is about to expire. I have already downloaded AVG to replace it.

Having a bit of experience with trying to rid a computer of Norton, I'm wondering if we'll have a similar time.

We can't find a uninstall feature for the McAfee. That leaves us with add/remove programs or whatever Vista calls it.

Do you think that will get it done?

By the by, he likes Vista, a lot, and has had no problems with it. He does wish he'd had a bit of experience with IE7 before making the switch.

Thanks for your imput.

Tom

Thanks, Guys, for the responses.

Why can't they just make it easy to remove their products?

AVG does.

Wish us luck,

Tom

I guess they want you to keep using their product so they make it hard to get rid of it,
Good Luck.
