SpyWare Guard
Hey, im in the process of updating my anti-virus, anti-spyware and firewall, and cant seem to decide whether to uninstall this program or keep it. Its definitions date is 1/22/04, surely this can't be right? And im not even sure what its doing and whether it is working and doing its job as it runs in the background.

Here is a list of my protection just to give ye an idea of whether its needed or not.
Marked in bold are the newly installed programs with the previous programs beside them.

ESET NOD32 AntiVirus Business Edition - AVG 7.5 Antivirus
Zonealarm Firewall - AVG 7.5s Firewall functionality
Ad-Aware 2007 with Ad-Watch 2007 - Ad-Aware SE Personal
SpybotSearch&Destroy
SpyWareBlaster
Spyware Terminator - Doesn't replace anything
Spyware Guard

Also, since installing these new programs, my CPU usage does fluctaute between 2-12% when im not even touching the computer and with none of these programs opened up. I can't pinpoint which program is causing this as i installed them more or less at the same time.

I have another question about Zonealarm but i think i will start a new thread with that one

Wish mine was that low..that is just Windows running no need to worry.

I would just get rid of SpywareGuard since it's now out-of-date. Both AdWatch and Spyware Terminator provide real-time protection, so to avoid conflict I would turn off the Spyware Terminator real-time protection and use AdWatch which might also lower your CPU usage. Although Spyware Terminator lets you pick and choose which real-time protection to implement so you might be able to use the ones that won't conflict with AdWatch.

Also I wouldn't install the ClamAV component of Spyware Terminator, since it could conflict with NOD32.
