More than one anti virus program
Good Evening Doctors,
Being that one (free) antivirus program isn't guaranteed to catch everything. I need your advice about how many antivirus programs can run at the same time or which ones can run that would conflict with one another? Thx in advance

You can't run more than one antivirus program. Antispyware is more than one.

I heard that some antivirus programs will conflict with one another.

You can install more than one (confirmed) but you cannot run more than one at the same time. Your best bet is to try to get the best available option. If free is your only option I highly recommend Avast! but if you can buy one you're best off with NOD32.

i'm using the free edition of AVG antivirus and McAffee and i don't have any problems using both of them at the same time. however, it is recommended that you only have one antivirus and maybe you could install an antispyware also.

well theoretically, yes but there are better programs out there, AVG wont pick up as much as Avast yet it may pick up more things than other programs, mcafee isnt the best... if your going to pay, use some thing like jonmcc suggested. Adaware SE no longer offers updates you need to get the new one.
