Exclamation The best is not always the best...
its not so much a solution i seek...more advice...

I am currently selling Kaspersky internet security 7 which i have read and found to be the
best package in its class...i use it myself and have had very little problem with it...

the only problem im having is that it isnt very "user friendly" and requires a bit of interaction
(but i mean what package doesnt? anybody know?)

now there is a lot to kaspersky...there is a 340 page manual and even exams you can take
for certification...i am just worried that my users are going to become painfull...

i do get a lot of comeback on it...which is fairly annoying and time consuming and of course
rewardless...

basically what im asking is:

what would you guys recommend as the best...most trouble free easiest to use for the
complete idiot av out there...

and secondly...(yes this is a bit embarrassing as i know i am selling it...and should understand it...but i am busy reading the book!) is there a way to tone down kaspersky
to make it a bit less questioning (if possible without toning down security) i cant see it
anyway...

your thoughts appreciated...

Hello, to answer your first question in my opinion kaspersky is the best anti-virus I've used but when i help my customers on my website i recommend that they use AVG anti-virus free or pro because it seems to be an easy way to protect your computer and it offers a free version as well as a paid version which some people prefer. also to answer the question about is there a way to tone kaspersky down, I'm not sure about this but i think when you install kaspersky it says choose what level you are at and you can select beginner and it will make it an easy interface

hope this solved your problem, luke staszewski

hi

ja i normally install AVG if the customer wants free av (doesnt want to pay)
i was running AVG for years...without a problem

then when i installed kaspersky i was amazed at how many threats i had on my system.
and that brings up another point...

i mean if the system was running fine...(even with the "threats" trojans and what not...
how risky is it to run a weaker AV...

whats the point?

the easiest way with KAV is open settings/ select all protections in turn & set block access & enable disinfect & delete in cannot diosinfect

that way it does it automatically & no alerts to user to worry about

same with the protection settings
