Hello everyone!

I have just bought Macafee Security Centre 2008 and it wont install the Virus Scan on my computer ??!!

It installs all the other conponents but not the VirusScan, which is very important.

Down the left hand side it says :
Computer and files ACTIONS REQUIRED
Internet and Network - PROTECTED

Well, I just did a McAfee install 2008 this week. If I configure McAfee to turn off some of the scan options, the control center looks like this. And if I click "FIX", it resets the options to on. So when you click "FIX", nothing happens?

Did you have another anti-virus program that may not have been completely removed?

Maybe you could remove 2008 and re-install it.

Dont worry, i have sorted it. I had to remove all over 3rd party software like, adaware and windows defender.
