Hi all

For the last 2 days i have been told that there are new security updates waiting to be installed kb946456 which is supossedly an important update and kb943899, i have tried several times to install them and on 1 occasion i disabled real time security and third party firewall but each time i have got the message that they have not been configured correctly and therefore not been installed, all other updates will install as long as i do not include the above 2 in the process, my os is vista home premium, any sugestions?

I noticed once ( not this month's updates) that when I try to manually do a windows update, it fails. So I just let automatic update take care of it and then it installs fine.

Looks like it is patch for a 64 bit system and is a security issue has been identified in Vista - DHCP that could allow an attacker to compromise your Windows-based system and gain control over it.
