Solved: Opening Norton Security Suite
Hi, I Noticed when I started my computer that the Norton icon was missing from my taskbar. Also the desktop Icon will not open the program. Does anyone have any ideas about how to open it and get my taskbar Icon back. Thanks,
chuck.

Have you tried uninstall and reinstall of nortons.
Personally I would get rid of it for the amount of trouble it causes.

Hi, No I haven't tried that yet. It was fine up until I started it up just now. That's why I don't understand why it's happening.
Chuck.

Yeh thats the system tray.

Its possible some virus or the like has disabled it.

Maybe run Hijackthis and post the results back here. And get one of the Malware Team on to it or get the tread moved.
