I do not think my zone alarm system, valid till Oct 2008, is functioning. There is no icon. When I go to my account at ZoneAlarm to reinstall the system, it gets so far then the message comes up

Setup is unable to shut down the TrueVector Service.
Installation cannot continue without shutting down the TrueVector service.
Please use the Service Manager to shut down the TrueVector service then restart the installation process

I am totally unable to shut down the truevector service or uninstall the zonealarm security which appears on my programs. It is stuck like a leech!

Hi first check in msconfig.
Start>run>type
msconfig
Click on startup tab>uncheck all referencies ZoneAlarm.
Restart your system.
Check in Add-remove programs>uninstall ZoneAlarm.
Check your account with ZoneAlarm>reinstall.
