Medusa_loopback_device?
Hey all,
Im just wondering somthing about somthing strange that appeared at one point when i was running diskeeper on my computer. For some strange reason for a while i would think i would see somthing in my application tray flicker for a second then disappear. At one point i think it locked up and the window said medusa_loopback_interface[insert random #'s and characters here]. I am wondering what the heck it was and why the message came up. I typed it into google and did not see anything come up. I would like to know if i should be concerned about security or if my machine is safe? There were no alerts from avg at the time it appeared. Should i have the computer checked out for malware? I honestly have no idea what it was.

Sounds quite innocent and a function of diskeeper to me.
