iolo System Mechanic 7 pro
I purchased System Mechanic pro 7. I had version 5 and loved it. I installed it. Worked great until I used drive scrubber in free space only. I had heck of a time getting firewall to work. It word say it was initializing. the icon would stay yellow and my system would bog down to a crawl. Still does sometimes. I reboot, or use system restore until it load right. The second problem is now I get cant load realtime settings, and the anti virus wont load. I have emailed the company three times and they wont respond. I tried uninstalling. I even went into regedit and did a complete uninstall and then reinstalled it and . No luck. I used restore and went way back to the time I had System Mechanic 5. However I cant uninstall it because it had an install log error. To fix that I would have to reinstall that version and I cant because I dont have the disk anymore.
ANy idea on how to get my real time settings back? And why firewall is being stupid?
I shut off windows security center firewall. Sometimes its on even tho I have it checked as off. Dont know why.
