log on password
The log on password on my Dell (Windows 2000 XP) computer will "open" my computer about one in ten trys. But now I can't get on at all.
I have tried various different ways to enter my password, but with no success!
Is there anything else that I can do?
Thank you!

Windows 2000 is an operating system, and Windows XP is a different operating system. Are you dual booting both? Or do you have one or the other installed?

A password either works or it doesn't. Entering the same correct password would work every time. Is this a keyboard problem? Did you check the status of NumLock? CapsLock? Type the password in the username field to verify you're tying the correct characters?

Sorry! The operating system is Windows XP Home edition.
Thanks!
