Question avg
i recently downloaded AVG, since it was highly recommended.. since last security wasnt up to much... but i keep getting messages asking me if i want to allow certain things, since i dont know what they are or mean, its causing me loads of problems worries, that i may be accepting the wrong things...

e.g. operating system is trying to establish a UDP connection or spooler subsytem APP is trying to do same. also what and how threatening is generatic trojan...?? never got it with other security system, and 32 dll library extention??

also i keep getting told to get rid of temp files? where and what are they and do i need them and if and when i can delete, will it damage the running of pc...help....pc numpty

AVG is a great product, but is it sounds like you may have bitten off the FULL AVG Security Suite. Full security suites are over-kill for most computer users and can be tough to determine exactly how to configure and maintain them.

I'm hoping that you just downloaded the trial copy and haven't ponied up any money for it yet. If so, download the FREE version of AVG Anti-virus for home users at: http://free.grisoft.com , then install and use ONLY Mozilla Firefox for your browser...get it at: http://www.firefox.com, and lastly install an anti-spyware product like SpyBot Search & Destroy or Super Anti-Spyware from http://www.helpmerick.com/links
