I've uninstalled this but it won't let me delete it from C/Program files so it's still obviously running. I can't install AVG Free Edition until this has been removed so can anyone help?

Hi it may be in C:\programs but it will not be running..check task manager Ctrl-alt-delete.
Does Avg refuse to d/load?
Check.

Did you restart your system after removing Kaspersky?

Yes I have AVG running now but I don't understand why it still won't let me delete Kaspersky from Program Files.

I've tried that and it's not recognising the command when I run Kavremover.exe kis7.

I've managed to delete it from Program Files now by using Tune Up Shredder. It then left a few dll files which I deleted in safe mode.

Interesting case - KAS AV is usually trouble-free when uninstalling...

What version of Windows - had you it running on?
