Red face Security Alert - when logging off PC
Hi
When i log off my PC i often get a message saying, other users are logged on and if i continue to log off their data will be lost.
Should i be worried as i am not connected to any network, just have broadband access to the internet. Does this mean someone has hacked into my PC? What can i do about this?
Thank you.

So there's your account and there is the built-in one called 'Administrator'.
Next, question, are you using XP Home or XP Professional? Professional version has Terminal Services which allows remote logins using Remote Desktop.

I use XP Professional version 2002 Service pack 2.
Are you saying someone is somehow remotely logging into my PC?
What do you suggest?
Thanks.

I get that message because I have my 3 PC's on a network and once in a while another of my PCs is using the printer on another PC.

In your case, you might right click on "My Computer", select "Properties" and then select the remote tab and make sure both options are disabled.
