hijacked modem dialling 1900 number
You guys have heard of people's dial-up modem being hijacked by dialer programs and then makes them connect to a 1900 number leaving them with a large phone bill?

Well...I was wondering whether it was possible for faxx machiness to be hijacked the same way.

thankyou very mych..

If a fax machine were hijacked - perhaps phone phreaks would use it for making free phone calls.

Have you tried at all googling for the topic: fax machine hijack

You'll probably find a better answer and apparently, it is possible.
