Windows Firewall
I'm running windows firewall....
Should that be safe enough>?

I dont want to spend any money so the only thing i would use would be a freebie.

For the home user Windows Firewall is good enough. Just be sure to be doing frequent virus and spyware scans.

if you are running xp ,i would get a free firewall. i use comodo on mine.
