my shares vs. zonealarm

Whenever I try to access my shared folders on my other computer, my firewall wont allow me to access them. I know this because the minute I turn it off I have no problem accessing them. What do I need to do to allow zonealarm to let me in without compromising my security? I have set my 'TrustedZone' security to the off position.
