server protection
Hi i am running server 2000 on my server and i am looking for a good form of free protection dose anyone know of one that would be free that would run on a server os?

Do windows update to patch up bugs.
Install ANY firewall and allow only needed ports i.e. 80 (http).
Check version of your service programs running and compare with the buggy ones at securityfocus.com .. do updates if needed.

In general that would prevent many n00bs from h4xXx0r1ng you

thanks but because i am running a server os i can not use that unless i pay for it any other ideas
