norton problem
[i]Help my Norton has disappeared and I get a box that says something about "cc common" trying to install......but nothing happens.."All my files for norton are there but it doesn't reinstall and is not providing any security right now.
What to do?

Hi you may need to completely uninstall Norton then reinstall.

Hey
thanks for responding..but have tried to uninstall and Norton doesn't let me and when I do try to reinstall it tells me something else is installing and I have to wait for that..????????????

Hi have you uninstalled through Add-remove programs?
Then check for files and folders for Norton and delete.
Have you tried http://tinyurl.com/zefd7

Edit.. make sure Norton isn't running in the background before trying to uninstall.
