Was the scan still progressing?

Scans can take a long time, depending on what you have on your comupter and whether or not you clean out your temp files, cookies, etc. before doing the scan.

I do believe there is a new version out SUPERAntiSpyware 4.0
Might be worth checking on the website
Might improve the speed a little

I only run a complete scan once a month
I find the quick scan needs to be run once a week

All those programs in your Sig do you have them all running at the same time ...

How did you get SuperAntiSPyware Pro for free?

With SAS Pro, you have real-time protection and I would get rid of these:

Malwarebytes Antimalware (this is not a program meant to be kept and run by the user. It's used for specific infections on advice of qualified helpers).
Windows Defender
Spyware Terminator

And you should add a third party firewall such as ZoneAlarm.

Hi Cookiegal,

I was helping yvesj in an earlier thread and recommended that he uninstall Windows Defender and to turn off the real-time protection in Spyware Terminator (which it appears he did). At that time he had the paid version of AVG Anti-spyware.

Anyway here's a HJT log he posted, I thought it would be good for you to take a look at it.

The HijackThis log looks fine.

I would still recommend uninstalling SpywareTerminator and adding a firewall.
