Question Solved: Please help
I installed the comodo firewall on my pc and after I rebooted my pc, the problem was that it would get to my desktop and then within 10 seconds it was rebooting itself over and over again, did I do something wrong?

Hi and welcome to TSG.
Try first.. reboot to safe mode.
Tap F8 at startup and uninstall Comodo.
Let us know if it will then startup to desktop ok.

I also thoroughly advise against using commodo!!!!!
although it may be free, its not especially commendable when it comes to protection and removal of viruses.

If still wanting to go down the free route, i advice more on getting yourself avast or avg.

I don't know this program, but if that is what causing the rebooting, you should uninstall it from safe mode (by hitting the F8 key during boot, as already mentioned) and maybe you could try re-installing it. If it still doesn't work, then uninstall it once again.

As an alternative to Comodo, try Online Armour.

I have been using AVG Internet Security 8.0, but from what I have been reading lately it isn't enough to protect my pc completely, I don't know alot about this stuff but I really want to learn how to better protect my pc from all of the dangers these days.

Hi you could also use..
SpyBot V1.5
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download2471.html
AdAware 2007
http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-200...art=dl-AdAWARE
Superantispyware.
http://www.superantispyware.com

Update them all once a week and while offline, stop Avg from running in the background and run the other Spyware scans.

AVG and Avast run a pretty good protection against viruses for freeware and Zonealarm has good stead as a firewall.
I personally use Superantispyware for my malware troubles aswell and its been the best out of all i have tried.
