Ok working on Sister inlaws laptop and it was filled with anti virus 28 of them and a bunch of spyware so I had to install firefox sence here IE was All messed got Zone alarm security suite installed and ran (for 10 hours) the scan . removed or querentined all the virus's and removed the spyware now i have a problem windows when I start up says that zonealarm's firewall is not on and the spyware is not enabled.. even though zone alarm has not said anything of that nature all so my desktop started saying same thing on different machine ... something is going on ?

go to grc.com and do a firewall test. That will tell you whether your firewall is active or not.
