Aol parental controls
The parental controls on aol are fine....until the teenagers just bypass them by minimising aol and using Internet Explorer.

Aol says it is not their problem, but if their controls are easy to bypass, then the children are not protected and i think it is a serious weakness.

How do I stop children from minimising aol and using another browser? I have a wreless conction with XP

Well, it's not really a problem with AOL, but it is a joke as far as being effective. Programs like Net Nanny provide more thorough protections.

Honestly though, if your teenagers are technically savvy, this won't stop them either. They can always bypass the entire operating system with a Linux CD. Ultimately it comes down to good ol' fashioned parenting.
