Xp2, updates not being..
downloaded, they are set to be downloaded automaticly, but nothing, I just have a list that have failed to download for the last 2 weeks????

Have AD-Aware installed(free)

AVG installed (free)

No trouble downloading with these on before?

Just found I had Apple software & Apple Mobile Devices on my PC, (was not on a couple of weeks ago) have just delited but makes no difference.

Try going to the Windows Update site, choose Custom and see if some of the updates will download and install.

Done that a few times, goes through the motions, then says 'failed'

Which update were you trying to download and what was the error code and/or message.

All the updates from the last 2 weeks, I also tried just downloading 1 but still get the message 'failed'
