Hi,

Looks like you have run into a false detection.....that file is most often seen as part of the Panda Titanium 2006 program, have a look at these two, just the first of the google results for that filename....

(the same filename could have been used in an older version of Panda T.)

A good thing to do in this situation, is to send the file in to Avast support and let them decide about it...perhaps, they already know about the false postive detection and can assure you and/or point you to the patch or Update that takes care of this detection....this is generally what they do if you bring it to their attention.

Keep in mind, that the file could have been modified or something, could possibly be infected so I would definitely send a copy in.

You can also have it scanned by a whole bunch of malware scanners in just seconds, at this site:

http://virusscan.jotti.org/

* You just use the Browse button on the Jotti page, navigate to the file's location in Windows Explorer....highlight the file and it's path will show up in the Submit window space, then click Submit to upload that one file for a thorough exam and you will have results you can use to judge whether it's bad or not.

Still bring the detection to the attention of the makers of Avast.
