Solved: Uninstalling Norton Internet Security 2005
I am going to uninstall Norton Internet security 2005 and install AVG antivirus and Comodo firewall.

I have read conflicting advice concerning uninstalling Norton. I want to remove all Norton components that could remain active or would conflict with AVG and Comodo. I don't mind certain Norton items remaining on the hard disc provided they are disabled.

Can I just use the Windows XP Control panel Add/Remove and then delete any unwanted folders by hand or should I use the Symantec Removal Tool? Or is there an easier way?
