computer spontaneously shuts down!
Help! My computer shut down on its own a few days ago. When I turned it back on, I got the windows XP blue screen with a message that I had a damaged file, which would be fixed upon my prompt. I allowed the action, yet my computer shuts itself down now at random, sometimes seconds after I turn it back on. Any suggestions?

Can you open it in safe mode? If so, try to do a system restore to a point before this started happening. If that doesn't work you may have to use a boot disk http://www.bootdisk.com/
