Solved: Virus removed now probs with RAM
I had a virus to which i removed am now having problems regarding RAM.
My system starts and uses 280MB of RAM, if i open Firefox and close the RAM goes back to original 280MB, but when i open a program like AVS DVD Player the ram goes up to about 340MB then when i close the app the RAM doesn't seem to drop for a considerable amount of time and thats if it does?
Any help would be much appreciated.

AVS DVD Player probably takes a long time to close. When you have it open, open task manager, then go to the Applications tab, right click on AVS DVD Player (or whatever it's called), click Go To Process, then close out of it and see how long it takes for the highlighted process to disappear.

It happens with a lot of programs. iTunes always takes a long time to close for me.
