AVG & Vista
I have been using AVG free for ages and recently download new version AVG8, with no problems.....Windows XP but a friend accidently downloaded the paid version(she is running Vista) and it automatically scanned showing 44 virus, warnings etc.. I successfully downloaded the free version for her but the problem is how to remove the paid version which keeps popping up wanting licence no. etc. I has seen it successfully removed in XP, is this a problem with Vista? Can someone please help me as I have tried every thing I know!

I would try to contact customer service at AVG.
