Winpatrol
I did a little testing with it, I like how it reacts, but am concerned with what other products/programs it's compatible with?

I don't quite understand your question. I have WinPatrol and it is very good at letting you know when something is about to be added to your computer.

I should think not. It just keeps track of what is already on your computer and what is about to be added.

WinPatrol is great!!! When Scotty barks, something is trying to change.
It has no load on WinXP and has no conflicts with other apps.
It can help control startup programs and much more.
Enjoy it.

I think I have a winner here

23 seconds to boot w/wireless internet

9 seconds to shut down

protection will not let me extract the test trojan(amazing how fast it worked)

Running processes:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe
C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exe
C:\Program Files\Avira\AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic\sched.exe
C:\Program Files\Avira\AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic\avguard.exe
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_06\bin\jusched.exe

C:\WINDOWS\system32\wuauclt.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe
