Free Anti-Virus Program
Grisoft will not update its free 7.5 starting shortly, is there any other free or very
inexpensive anti-virus program to download? After buying gas I am too poor to buy
Norton or one of the others. Thanks for the info

Absolutely nothing wrong with it. I run it on our desk top. My OLD laptop is Win 98SE and so I use avast on it since avg no longer supports that. Both work for us.

Avira is another free release. It came out top in free antivirus programs. I started using it a coule of weeks ago. I have always used AVGFree but though I would like to try something new. I like to think I run a clean computer, and do not normal visit suspect sites. To my amazement, Avira found two trojans on my computer on installation!
