Trojan Horse
I have AVG, several weeks ago it found a Trojan Horse and it put it into the Virus vault. Several tech guys gave me instructions how to get rid of same, I don't recall what they were, but it worked. Now on the 24th of May AVG found 2 "Trojan Horse geneic 10 ABRY-C:\Program files\Common files\Ahead\Lib\cximage.DLL" and "Trojan Horse generic 10 ABRY C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Nero Vision\cximage.DLL in addition today another "Trojan Horse Back Door.Subseven 5M C:\Program files\WordPerfect Office 12\Programs\CDben.DLL. This time the program did not put these horses into the Virus Vault ??
Can anyone tell me what's up and what to do??
The Ver of AVG that I have needs to be replaced with ver. 8 before 5/31 after reading many of the posts I think I might not down-load the ver. 8 ??

I use the paid AVG antivirus plus firewall, 7.5, and I also had the trojan horse alert re cdben.dll. A failed attempt by AVG to heal this then deleted the file and put in in the virus vault. The good news is that this file, if needed, is readily available for download. I'm not keen on upgrading to version 8.0, either, after reading the less than positive news about it, but I haven't received any notice about doing so. How/when did you get the May 31 update deadline? If necessary, I'll probably abandon the $ spent for the multi-computer, multi-year license and switch to other programs.

LaMujer:
I got the warning on the 5/31 date on a text box from AVG saying that after 5/31 if I did not down-load ver 8 the AVG 7.5 would no longer work.
The strange thing is AVG did not put the last several "Trojan Horses" in the vault and each day when I turn on my machine I get another "Trojan Horse" , at this time I'm at wits end to solve this problem ??

Try running an online scan and see what that picks up.
