Cannot install ANY protection on x64.
Hey, I finished building my new set-up last night and it was a huge success except for 1 doa ram stick.

Anyways, I'm not able to install any form of protection(bullguard, avg, spybot) at all.

I'm running Vista x64 Ultimate, I've got 4 partitioned drives, and theres 1 folder inside of my windows partition called x84 - is it neccesary to install them into this folder?

*Spybot now works, for what ever reason.

Try Avast or Avira.

balls,
Check your security program's web site to see if they are compatible with x64.

You could also try installing them in the x86 compatible mode.

I don't know where that feature is on Vista, but it's in the Program List under Accessories in Windows XP; called
Program Compatiblity Wizard

In Vista, you right click the app/shortcut and then select properties. from there, you should click the compatibility tab
